About

Connor O'Dea is a software engineer who builds things that work.

He started the way most engineers do — writing bad code, breaking things, fixing them, and doing it again until the code stopped breaking. What didn't start normally was the pace. While most developers spend years inside someone else's codebase, Connor was building his own products from scratch, end to end, and putting them in front of real users.

Over the past several years, that compounding paid off. He founded more than ten ventures — not side projects with landing pages, but real systems handling real operations. QuickLotz WMS manages warehouse inventory and fulfillment at enterprise scale. QuickVisionz uses computer vision to sort and classify products from camera feeds. Vidmation automates video production with AI, from script to final render. ClawdHub — 13,000 lines of TypeScript — is a full IDE for orchestrating AI agents. Each one was built the same way: Connor wrote the code, designed the architecture, set up the infrastructure, and deployed it to production.

The technical range is the point. Python and TypeScript. React and Next.js on the frontend. FastAPI and PostgreSQL on the backend. Claude and OpenAI APIs for the AI layer. Hetzner VPS, Docker, nginx, and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure. The stack changes depending on what the problem needs — the discipline of shipping doesn't.

Philosophy

Connor builds. He doesn't advise from the sidelines, produce slide decks, or hand off wireframes for someone else to figure out. Every Odea Works engagement is hands-on. He writes the code, reviews the architecture, configures the servers, and pushes to production. Clients get a working system, not a recommendation to build one.

The belief behind it is simple: technology should make people more effective, not more confused. That means choosing the right tool instead of the trendy one. It means writing code that another engineer can read six months from now. It means shipping fast, getting feedback, and iterating — not spending twelve weeks on a plan that won't survive first contact with users. Currently pursuing an MBA, Connor pairs deep technical ability with a clear understanding of what the business actually needs built.

How we work

01

Discover

We listen. What are you building? What's blocking you? What does success look like?

02

Assess

We evaluate your technical landscape. What exists, what's needed, what's possible.

03

Architect

We design the solution. Stack, infrastructure, timeline, milestones.

04

Build

We write the code. Real engineering, real tests, real deployments.

05

Ship

We deliver working software. Documentation, handoff, ongoing support if needed.
